On Saturday, Mike and I went out for our engagement photos and boy did we have fun. I can’t wait for y’all to see them! While we laughed the day away (literally) – I was in a state of bliss. Everything was going so great, our photographer was awesome, and I was (and am) so excited to see how the pictures turned out.

Then, on Sunday morning – my attitude was just a wee bit different.
Let me just tell you how I woke up and could barely move. My back ached. My legs hurt. I laid in bed and contemplated where I had gone wrong in this crazy thing called life. A thought that has slowly become a regular occurrence in my head thanks to these new aches and pains.
After recently turning 35 (gasp!) – I have realized things are a little different now. My body is different and my body reacts to situations differently.
The joys of getting old, am I right!?
Things that were once so simple and I wouldn’t even pay any mind to, like bending over to pick up our teeny tiny a(annoying, but adorable) dog – are now things I brace for.
Now, before everyone all chimes in at once – I know I need to get back into the gym on a regular basis (gotta work on that #weddingbody, am I right!?). I know that I also need to eat healthier and take better care of myself (read: get a good nights sleep more often than not). But, I think we can all agree that even if you’re doing all of the above – getting a little extra boost of help in this department is never a bad idea.
So I started researching different supplements and vitamins that I could easily incorporate into my every day routine to make things easier and ,well – let’s call a spade a spade…less painful.
“The human body is an amazing, wonderful thing until it isn’t moving and grooving quite the way it used to. Whether it’s a recovery session after a night out or a sudden inability to straighten up after bending over, we all get some subtle (and not so subtle) messages that our body is aging. But not to worry, the fine lines, nagging aches and pains and sore joints are just your body’s way of telling you that it needs a little extra support. While it’s true that we can’t turn back the clock, we can take simple steps to give our body the support it needs, making our health a priority and Sproos is here to help.”
Can I just tell you how this statement hit me!? Every now and then I’ll read something and truly felt seen. This was one of those times.
I was actually invited out to an event a couple weeks ago where I learned all about Sproos and how it can be easily incorporated into your every day life.
In fact, you can even include it in your favourite festive cocktails! Need a little inspiration in that department? Check out the below recipe!
Red Sangria Pitcher – Serves 4
- Fill a pitcher with ice
- Add freshly pressed Strawberry, Watermelon, Orange and Cranberry juice, and a splash of lemon for desired tartness until almost full
- Add 3 scoops of Sproos Collagen
- Add fruit of your choice
- Top with red wine for alcoholic option
- Stir, pour and enjoy
Ok, listen – I’m no dietician or doctor or scientist. LOL So I need something simple to understand with easy instructions.
Sproos is about keeping health simple in a complex world.
There are a whole bunch of supplement brands out there, so what makes Sproos different?
“We believe health supplements should be simple to understand and to incorporate into your daily routine. Our products are the proud results of a personal journey, backed by ample research and created with your health in mind. With Sproos, it’s one scoop, once a day and that’s it. No pills, no confusing labels, and no fuss – just you putting your health first.”
Now that’s easy enough for even me to follow!
Bonus: As a company whose values are anchored in social responsibility, Sproos will donate 5% of all sales from their Marine Collagen Tubs and Cartons to The Ocean Cleanup.
So, if you’re like me and need a little help in making sure you’re the best version of you – you are in luck!
I’ve partnered with Sproos to help one lucky reader start living the #SproosLife!
